Tech stocks turned in a mixed trading performance Friday as the sector struggled to close the week out on a positive note. Declines came from Microsoft Corp. , Broadcom Corp. and Netflix Inc. . Social-gaming company Zynga Inc. was having a good day, as its shares rose 7% to $2.53. Late Thursday, Zynga reported better-than-expected third-quarter sales. Small gains also came from Apple Inc. , Amazon.com Inc. and Facebook Inc. . The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite Index fell almost 14 points to 4,624.
