Machinery companies shares up at the close of trading

Shares of some top machinery companies were up at the close of trading:

Caterpillar rose $.73 or .9 percent, to $85.33.

Deere & Co. rose $.54 or .6 percent, to $88.93.

Manitowoc rose $.28 or 1.4 percent, to $19.67.

Terex rose $.89 or 3.3 percent, to $27.57.
