Lyft Names Former Amazon Executive As Chief Operating Officer
Ride-hailing app Lyft named Rex Tibbens, a former Amazon executive, as its new chief operating officer Thursday. Tibbens was formerly the vice president of Amazon Logistics North America and was the head of projects such as Amazon's one-hour delivery service, according to Lyft. In its blog post, Lyft notes that it has had six executives join the company in the last six months.
