Knight Capital says power restored at New Jersey headquarters

Power has been restored at Knight Capital Group's Jersey City, New Jersey-based headquarters and the firm is running on its regular power supply, the brokerage said in a note to clients on Thursday afternoon.

A failed backup power generator had forced Knight to stop accepting client orders temporarily on Wednesday. The brokerage lost regular power on Monday when Sandy, the massive storm that slammed into the U.S. East Coast, hit.
