J.P. Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon: I'm Cancer Free

J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. chief executive Jamie Dimon announced on Friday to staff that he is cancer free, according to a person familiar with the matter. Dimon was diagnosed with throat cancer this past summer and had been undergoing treatment. The "results came back completely clear" and there is "no evidence of cancer in my body," said Dimon in an internal memo. Dimon underwent a thorough round of tests and scans this week. The 58-year-old has made two public appearances in recent weeks after being absent from the public eye during treatment. Dimon has headed the biggest U.S. bank since 2006.
