Internet grocer Peapod has agreed to make its website more accessible to disabled customers as part of a settlement agreement with the Justice Department.
The agreement reached Monday requires the delivery company to make sure that its website is fully accessible to those who have hearing and vision difficulties.

The company will need to adopt several measures as part of the settlement, including retaining an independent website accessibility consultant.
The settlement resolves alleged violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability.
