House Passes Bill To Keep Government Funded Into Next Week

The House passed a bill Friday to extend federal government funding through Wednesday. The bill, passed by the Senate Thursday, allows lawmakers more time to complete negotiations on a broad budget deal. Without a stopgap budget bill the government would partially shut down later Friday.
