Greek Stock Market To Remain Closed Until Thursday

The Athens stock market will remain closed Tuesday and Wednesday, after a decision to extend the holiday for banks, the Hellenic Capital Market Commission said in a statement. Trading on the Athex was halted on Monday last week after a breakdown in bailout negotiations between the Greek government and its international lenders. Banks will also stay shuttered until Thursday, after a similar closure, as Greece looks to restart reform talks with its creditors.
