Grain mostly lower on the CBOT, cattle mostly higher and pork lower on the CME
CHICAGO – Grain futures were mostly lower Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Mar delivery was 1.50 cents lower at $5.5625 a bushel; Mar corn was 2 cents higher at $3.8925 a bushel; Dec oats were unchanged at $2.99 a bushel; while Jan soybeans gained 10.00 cents to $10.41 a bushel.
Beef mostly higher and pork lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Feb live cattle was .12 cent lower at $1.7090 pound; Jan feeder cattle was .73 cent higher at 2.3210 a pound; Feb lean hogs lost .22 cent to $.8960 a pound.
