Grain mostly lower on the CBOT, beef lower, pork higher on the CME

CHICAGO – Grain futures were mostly lower Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Mar delivery was 3.75 cents lower at $5.2625 a bushel; Mar corn was 3 cents lower at $3.8375 a bushel; Mar oats were unchanged at $2.9050 a bushel; while Mar soybeans gained 1.50 cents to $9.7425 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Apr live cattle was 1.80 cents lower at $1.4700 a pound; Mar feeder cattle was 4.32 cents lower at $1.9750 a pound; Apr lean hogs gained .45 cent to $.7110 a pound.
