Grain mostly lower on the CBOT, beef lower and pork lower on the CME

CHICAGO – Grain futures were mostly lower in early trading Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery gained 2.50 cents to $4.84 a bushel; December corn was 2.5 cents lower at $3.7720 a bushel; December oats were .50 cent lower at 2.31 a bushel; while November soybeans lost 12.25 cents to 8.7220 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle was .30 cent lower at $1.3903 a pound; October feeder cattle was .63 cent lower at $1.8718 a pound; December lean hogs lost .20 cent to $.6415 a pound.
