Grain mostly higher on the CBOT, beef mixed, pork lower on the CME
CHICAGO – Grain futures were mostly higher Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for May delivery was unchanged at $5.035 a bushel; May corn was .75 cent lower at $3.7025 a bushel; May oats were unchanged at $2.71 a bushel; while May soybeans rose 1.5 cents to $9.56 a bushel.
Beef was mixed and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
June live cattle rose .83 cent to $1.4630 a pound; May feeder cattle was .02 cent lower at $2.0890 a pound; June lean hogs lost .15 cent to $.7565 a pound.
