Grain mostly higher on the CBOT, beef mixed and pork higher on the CME
CHICAGO – Grain futures were mostly higher in early trading Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for September delivery gained 7 cents to $5.1420 a bushel; December corn was 5.50 cents higher at $393.0 a bushel; December oats were .50 cent higher at $2.4060 bushel; while November soybeans lost 3.50 cents to 9.6760 cents a bushel.
Beef mixed and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle was .50 cent lower at $1.4865 a pound; August feeder cattle was .13 cent higher at $2.1420 a pound; October lean hogs gained .75 cent to $.6310 a pound.
