Grain mostly higher on the CBOT, beef lower and pork lower on the CME
Grain futures were mostly higher in early trading Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery gained .50 cent to $4.5720 a bushel; December corn was 1.25 cents higher at $3.6260 a bushel; December oats were 1.25 cent higher at 2.24 a bushel; while November soybeans lost .50 cent to 8.6860 a bushel.
Beef lower and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle was .63 cent lower at $1.4098 a pound; October feeder cattle was 1cent lower at $1.9633 a pound; October lean hogs lost .18 cent to $.6928 a pound.
