Grain mostly higher on the CBOT, beef higher and pork lower on the CME
CHICAGO – Grain futures were mostly lower in early trading Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery lost 5 cents to $4.7860 a bushel; December corn was 4.25 cents lower at $3.7060 a bushel; December oats were 4 cents higher at 2.3240 a bushel; while November soybeans lost 12.25 cents to 8.7320 a bushel.
Beef lower and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle was .55 cent lower at $1.4343 a pound; October feeder cattle was .45 cent lower at $1.9848 a pound; October lean hogs gained .18 cent to $.6660 a pound.
