Grain mixed the CBOT, cattle higher and pork lower on the CME

CHICAGO – Grain futures were mixed Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec delivery was unchanged at $4.9625 a bushel; Dec corn was 2.50 cents lower at $3.4125 a bushel; Dec oats were unchanged at $3.5075 a bushel; while Nov soybeans gained 4.25 cents to $9.85 a bushel.

Beef higher and pork lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Dec live cattle was 1.43 cents higher at $1.6030 pound; Oct feeder cattle was 1.03 cents higher at 2.2690 a pound; Dec lean hogs declined .92 cent to $.9500 a pound.
