Grain mixed on the CBOT, beef mostly lower and pork higher on the CME
CHICAGO – Grain futures were mixed in early trading Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery lost 5.50 cents to $4.8060 a bushel; December corn was 1 cent lower at $3.68 a bushel; December oats were 2.50 cents higher at 2.2640 a bushel; while November soybeans gained 1.50 cents to 8.7560 a bushel.
Beef mostly lower and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle was .40 cent lower at $1.4093 a pound; October feeder cattle was .20 cent lower at $1.9513 a pound; October lean hogs gained 1.30 cent to $.6928 a pound.
