Grain mixed on the CBOT, beef mostly higher, pork lower on the CME
CHICAGO – Grain futures were mixed Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for May delivery unchanged at $4.8250 a bushel; May corn was 2.50 cents higher at $3.8850 a bushel; May oats were unchanged at $2.83 a bushel; while May soybeans gained 7 cents to $9.92 a bushel.
Beef was mostly higher and pork lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
April live cattle was .35 cent higher at $1.5500 a pound; May feeder cattle was .30 cent higher at $2.0775 a pound; April lean hogs lost .52 cent to $.6560 a pound.
