Grain mixed on the CBOT, beef mixed pork mixed on the CME

CHICAGO – Grain futures were mixed in early trading Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery gained 5.25 cents to $5.1420 a bushel; December corn was 1 cent higher at $376.20 a bushel; December oats were .50 cent lower at $2.3860 bushel; while November soybeans lost 10.50 cents to 9.1620 cents a bushel.

Beef mixed and pork were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle was .15 cent lower at $1.4770 a pound; October feeder cattle was .35 cent lower at $2.0798 a pound; October lean hogs gained .70 cent to $.6575 a pound.
