Grain mixed on the CBOT, beef lower and pork lower on the CME
CHICAGO – Grain futures were mixed in early trading Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery lost 4 cents to $4.9060 a bushel; December corn was 2 cents lower at $3.8840 a bushel; December oats were 3.50 cents higher at 2.3940 a bushel; while November soybeans gained 2 cents to 8.9100 a bushel.
Beef lower and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
December live cattle was 1.05 cents lower at $1.4113 a pound; October feeder cattle was 2.68 cents lower at $1.9008 a pound; December lean hogs lost .48 cent to $.6338 a pound.
