Grain mixed on the CBOT, beef higher, pork higher on the CME
CHICAGO – Grain futures were mixed Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for May delivery unchanged at $5.0375 a bushel; May corn was 1.50 cents lower at $3.84 a bushel; May oats were unchanged at $2.7275 a bushel; while May soybeans lost 1 cent to $10.1775 a bushel.
Beef was higher and pork higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
April live cattle was 1.08 cent higher at $1.4665 a pound; March feeder cattle was 1.15 cents higher at $1.9675 a pound; April lean hogs gained .53 cent to $.6910 a pound.
