Grain mixed on the CBOT, beef higher and pork mostly higher on the CME

CHICAGO – Grain futures were mixed Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery was unchanged at $5.3625 a bushel; May corn was 2.25 cents lower at $3.8425 a bushel; May oats were unchanged at $2.69 a bushel; while May soybeans lost 3.50 cents to $9.8250 a bushel.

Beef was higher and pork was mostly higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle was .43 cent higher $1.5380 a pound; May feeder cattle was 1.55 cents higher at $2.1900 a pound; June lean hogs gained .50 cent to $.7620 a pound.
