Grain lower on the CBOT, cattle higher and pork lower on the CME

Grain futures were lower Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec delivery was unchanged at $5.16 a bushel; Dec corn was 5.50 cents lower at $3.4250 a bushel; Dec oats were unchanged at $3.4775 a bushel; while Nov soybeans lost 12.25 cents to $9.3950 a bushel.

Beef was higher and pork lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Dec live cattle was 2.95 cents higher at $1.68 pound; Oct feeder cattle was 1.05 cents higher at 2.3950 a pound; Dec lean hogs declined .67 cent to $.8990 a pound.
