Grain lower on the CBOT, beef mostly lower, pork lower on the CME
CHICAGO – Grain futures were lower Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for September delivery was 2.50 cents lower at $5.0920 a bushel; December corn was 11.50 cents lower at $3.91 a bushel; December oats were 5.50 cents lower at $2.3660 bushel; while November soybeans were 17 cents lower at 9.48 cents a bushel.
Beef was mostly lower and pork lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle was .03 cent higher at $1.4415 a pound; August feeder cattle was .38 cent lower at $2.0930 a pound; October lean hogs lost .95 cent to $.6308 a pound.
