Grain lower on the CBOT, beef mostly lower and pork lower on the CME

CHICAGO – Grain futures were lower Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery was 4.25 cents lower at $5.06 a bushel; July corn was 1 cent lower at $3.61 a bushel; July oats were unchanged at $2.48 a bushel; while July soybeans lost 5.25 cents to 9.41 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle was .90 cent lower at $1.4970 a pound; August feeder cattle was .65 cent lower at $2.1650 a pound; July lean hogs gained .23 cent at $.8240 a pound.
