Grain lower on the CBOT, beef mixed, pork lower on the CME

Grain futures were lower Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery was unchanged at $5.07¼ a bushel; May corn was 3.25 cents lower at $3.8525 a bushel; May oats were unchanged at $2.8125 a bushel; while May soybeans lost 11 cents to $9.795 a bushel.

Beef was mixed and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle rose .30 cent to $1.5610 a pound; May feeder cattle was .08 cent higher at $2.12 a pound; April lean hogs lost .45 cent to $.6185 a pound.
