Grain lower on the CBOT, beef lower and pork lower on the CME

CHICAGO – Grain futures were lower in early trading Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery lost 8.50 cents to $4.8820 a bushel; December corn was 6.50 cents lower at $3.7760 a bushel; December oats were 3.50 cent lower at 2.2820 a bushel; while November soybeans lost 10.60 cents to 8.6340 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle was .30 cent lower at $1.3945 a pound; October feeder cattle was .45 cent lower at $1.8723 a pound; December lean hogs lost .38 cent to $.6460 a pound.
