Grain lower on the CBOT, beef higher pork lower on the CME
CHICAGO – Grain futures were lower in early trading Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery lost 7.25 cents to $497.20 a bushel; December corn was .50 cent lower at $373.60 a bushel; December oats were 1.50 cent lower at $2.3420 bushel; while November soybeans lost 14.25 cents to 9.0260 cents a bushel.
Beef higher and pork lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle was .23 cent higher at $1.4793 a pound; October feeder cattle was .30 cent higher at $2.0720 a pound; October lean hogs lost .10 cent to $.6618 a pound.
