Grain lower on the CBOT, beef higher and pork mostly lower on the CME

Grain futures were lower Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery was unchanged at $5.1350 a bushel; July corn was 1.50 cents lower at $3.5775 a bushel; July oats were unchanged at $2.5575 a bushel; while July soybeans lost 1.50 cents to 9.49 a bushel.

Beef was higher and pork was mostly lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle was .63 cent higher at $1.5415 a pound; August feeder cattle was .48 cent higher at $2.2725 a pound; July lean hogs gained .03 cent to $.7990 a pound.
