Grain higher the CBOT, cattle and pork lower on the CME

CHICAGO – Grain futures were higher Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Sept delivery was unchanged at $5.3775 a bushel; Sept corn was 5.75 cents higher at $3.7975 a bushel; Dec oats were unchanged at $3.31 a bushel; while Nov soybeans was 13 cents higher at $10.9925 a bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Aug live cattle was .77 cent lower at $1.4780 a pound; Aug feeder cattle was 2.07 cents lower at 2.0945 a pound; Aug lean hogs loss .42 cent to $1.3030 a pound.
