Grain higher on the CBOT, livestock higher on the CME
CHICAGO – Grain futures were higher Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Mar delivery was 10.75 cents higher at 5.92 a bushel; Mar corn was 7.75 cents higher at $4.0350 a bushel; Mar oats were unchanged at $3.0225 a bushel; while Mar soybeans gained 16.25 cents to $10.2375 a bushel.
Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Feb live cattle was up .48 cent to $1.6615 a pound; Mar feeder cattle was 1.55 cents higher at 2.23 a pound; Feb lean hogs lost .15 cent to $.8115 a pound.
