Grain higher on the CBOT, cattle mostly lower and pork higher on the CME
CHICAGO – Grain futures were higher Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Dec delivery was 19.75 cents higher at $5.45 a bushel; Dec corn was 9.25 cents higher at $3.83 a bushel; Dec oats were unchanged at $3.36 a bushel; while Jan soybeans gained 5 cents to $10.69 a bushel.
Beef mostly lower and pork higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Dec live cattle was .05 cent higher at $1.6720 pound; Jan feeder cattle was .55 cent lower at 2.3210 a pound; Dec lean hogs gained .10 cent to $.9000 a pound.
