Grain higher on the CBOT, cattle and pork mixed on the CME

CHICAGO – Grain futures were higher Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Mar delivery was unchanged at $5.94 a bushel; Mar corn was 3.75 cents higher at $3.9875 a bushel; Dec oats were unchanged at $2.9950 a bushel; while Jan soybeans gained 3 cents at $10.39 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork mostly lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Feb live cattle was 1.27 cents lower at $1.6360 pound; Jan feeder cattle was 2.37 cents lower at 2.3250 a pound; Feb lean hogs lost .37 cents to $.8525 a pound.
