Grain higher on the CBOT, beef mostly lower and pork higher on the CME
CHICAGO – Grain futures were higher in early trading Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery gained 7.25 cents to $4.7220 a bushel; December corn was 3.25 cents higher at $3.9020 a bushel; December oats were .50 cent higher at 2.3060 a bushel; while November soybeans gained 10 cents to 8.8420 a bushel.
Beef mostly lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
December live cattle was .25 cent higher at $1.4263 a pound; October feeder cattle was .95 cent lower at $1.9415 a pound; December lean hogs gained .10 cent to $.6275 a pound.
