Grain higher on the CBOT, beef higher, pork mostly lower on the CME
Grain futures were higher Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for September delivery was .04 cents to $5.78 a bushel; September corn was 2.4 cents higher at $4.27 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $2.67 a bushel; while November soybeans gained 22.6 cents at 10.11 cents a bushel.
Beef was higher and pork mostly lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
August live cattle was .75 cent higher at $1.4975 a pound; August feeder cattle was .25 cent higher at $2.1388 a pound; August lean hogs lost .38 cent to $.7543 a pound.
