Grain higher on the CBOT, beef higher, pork mixed on the CME
CHICAGO – Grain futures were higher Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for May delivery was unchanged at $5.30 a bushel; May corn was 4.25 cents higher at $3.89¼ a bushel; May oats were unchanged at $2.79 a bushel; while May soybeans gained 12 cents to $9.85¾ a bushel.
Beef was higher and pork was mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
June live cattle rose 1.78 cents to $1.5225 a pound; May feeder cattle was 2.1 cents higher at $2.1750 a pound; June lean hogs fell .35 cent to $.7350 a pound.
