Grain higher, livestock lower

Wheat for Dec. was 2.75 cents higher at 4.5250 a bushel; Dec. corn rose .25 cent at 3.5025 bushel; Dec. oats was up 3.75 cents at $2.50 bushel; while Nov. soybeans gained .75 cent at $9.7075 a bushel.

Beef and pork lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange October live cattle was off .85 cent at $1.1010 a pound; September feeder cattle fell .80 cent at $1.5317 a pound; while Oct. lean hogs lost 1.33 cents at $.5732 a pound.
