Gold Settles Up 0.3% After Seesaw Session

Gold prices settled higher Tuesday after fluctuating between slight gains and losses during Veterans Day trading. Gold for December delivery settled up $3.20, or 0.3%, at $1,163 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange. The contract hit a low of $1,145.50 an ounce and a high of $1,165.90 an ounce on the session.
