German unemployment falls again in November to 5.7 percent
The unemployment rate in Germany ticked down in November as the labor market in Europe's largest economy remained strong.
The Federal Labor Office said Wednesday that the unemployment rate in November fell to 5.7 percent from 5.8 percent the previous month, with a total of 2.53 million people out of work.
Adjusted for seasonal factors, the rate remained steady at 6 percent, the lowest it has been since German reunification.
