Gas prices in Rhode Island continue their decline, falling 11 cents to $3.28 per gallon
Gasoline prices in Rhode Island have continued their decline, falling 11 cents in the last week.
The latest price survey from AAA Southern New England on Tuesday found the average cost of a gallon of self-serve regular at $3.28.
Local prices are down 20 cents in the last month. Still, the average for regular in Rhode Island is 9 cents more than the national per-gallon average of $3.19.
Rhode Islanders were paying 19 cents more on average, or $3.47 a gallon, a year ago this week.
The AAA survey found a 38-cent range in prices, from a low of $3.12 to a high of $3.50.
