Gas prices drop 2 cents to an average $3.72 per gallon in Rhode Island

The price of a gallon of regular gas in Rhode Island has fallen 2 cents to an average $3.72.

AAA Southern New England released its weekly survey of gas prices on Monday.

It says prices in Rhode Island have increased 4 cents per gallon since last year at this time.

The price in Rhode Island is 11 cents higher than the national average of $3.61 per gallon.
