Gap Inc. November Comparable Sales Rise 6%

Gap Inc. shares rose in after hours trading after the clothing retailer said November comparable sales rose 6% compared with the same month a year ago. The clothing retailer saw gains of 18% at its Old Navy stores, compared with 3% gains reported in Nov. 2013. Banana Republic sales rose 2% for November, compared with a 1% decline reported in November 2013. Gap stores saw a 4% decline in November sales, vs. a 2% gain reported in November 2013.
