Fuller Oil sued by supplier seeking $4.7M in unpaid bills

The major supplier for a New Hampshire home heating oil company has filed a lawsuit against it saying it is owed $4.7 million in unpaid bills.

The lawsuit against Hudson-based Fred Fuller Oil comes after problems the company had last winter, when customers experienced fuel delivery problems.

The lawsuit was filed in Rockingham County Superior Court by Sprague Energy. The company seeks to seize Fuller's vehicles, among other assets, to pay for oil that's already been delivered.

Senior Assistant Attorney Jim Boffetti said 30,000 customers rely on Fuller. He said the lawsuit is a serious matter.

Fuller's attorneys have not yet responded to the lawsuit and have not returned messages seeking comment.
