Fed Begins Two-Day Policy Meeting

The Federal Reserve started a two-day policy meeting on Tuesday, a Fed official said, in which the central bank is expected to leave interest rates steady.

The meeting is set to conclude on Wednesday with a policy statement released at 2 p.m. ET.
