FCC Votes In Favor Of Net-neutrality Regulations

The Federal Communications Commission on Thursday voted in favor of so-called net neutrality rules. The regulation the FCC passed would reclassify broadband Internet access under Title II of the Communications Act, and in practice bars Internet providers from blocking or throttling legal content and bars paid prioritization, or the creation of paid "fast lanes" between content and Internet providers.
