FBI agents raid Puerto Rico's water and sewer company
FBI agents have raided the offices of Puerto Rico's Water and Sewer Authority as part of an ongoing investigation.
Special Agent in Charge Carlos Cases told The Associated Press on Tuesday that agents were acting on a sealed search warrant and were seeking certain documents. He declined further comment.
A spokeswoman for the agency said agents left with documents and a computer after raiding the finance, legal and purchasing departments.
The raid comes amid ongoing complaints about corruption and misspending at Puerto Rico's debt-ridden public corporations.
