Ex-Countrywide Exec To Receive More Than $57 Million For Whistle Blowing: NYT
Edward O'Donnell, a former executive at Countrywide Financial who helped government prosecutors, is receiving more than $57 million for whistle blowing over bad mortgages, according to a Wednesday story in The New York Times. O'Donnell helped prosecutors' case against Bank of America that led to a $16.65 billion settlement. Bank of America bought Countrywide in 2008.
