Eurozone Finance Chiefs to Meet Thursday

Jean-Claude Juncker, the President of the Eurogroup of euro zone finance ministers, has called a meeting of the group for Thursday in Brussels, his office said in a statement on Wednesday.

"The President of the Eurogroup, Jean-Claude Juncker, has decided to convene a meeting of the Eurogroup on Thursday 9 February 2012, at 6 p.m.... in Brussels," the statement said.

The meeting is expected to examine a package of financial aid for Greece, as well as a bond-swap with private-sector creditors.
