Education companies shares mixed at the close of trading

Shares of some top education companies were mixed at the close of trading:

Apollo Group fell $.26 or 1.5 percent, to $17.25.

Career Education Corp. fell $.37 or 8.0 percent, to $4.28.

DeVry Education Group Inc. rose $.38 or 1.2 percent, to $31.08.

Strayer Education Inc. fell $.66 or 1.2 percent, to $52.74.
