Department Store Retail companies shares up at the close of trading

Shares of some top department store retail companies were up at the close of trading:

Kohl's Corp. rose $1.13 or 1.7 percent, to $69.50.

Macy's Inc. rose $.70 or 1.1 percent, to $63.70.

Nordstrom rose $4.60 or 6.0 percent, to $81.74.

J.C. Penney Co. rose $.06 or .7 percent, to $8.22.

Sears Holdings Corp. rose $.42 or 1.2 percent, to $36.66.

TJX Companies rose $.91 or 1.3 percent, to $68.73.
